Justyna Kiermasz, PhD
She holds a bachelor's degree in Ocular Optics and Optometry from the University of Warsaw and a master's degree in Optometry from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. She received her PhD degree in 2023 from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw.
Since 2016, she has been involved in research and teaching at the University of Warsaw. She teaches European Studies in Ocular Optics and Optometry, as well as master-degree studies in Optometry. In her clinical practice, she deals with vision correction, contact lens fitting, myopia control, and diagnosis and therapy of binocular vision and accommodation disorders in adults and children. She has been working at Świat Oka eye clinic in Warsaw for several years.
Her main scientific interests are optics of vision, refractive status of the eye and visual perception. She is the author of scientific and popular science articles. She is a member of the Polish Society of Optometry and Optics.

The workshop will discuss the process of fitting of contact lenses in teenagers in terms of correction, improvement of visual function parameters, hygiene and safety, and psychological aspects.
