Wes DeRosier

Dr. Wes DeRosier, Professor Emeritus, has taught neuro-optometric rehabilitation and pediatric optometry clinically and didactically for 25 years and he continues to share this education with local and international colleagues.  Dr. DeRosier currently enjoys providing care to patients with traumatic brain injury and other functional vision loss. Outside the clinic, he enjoys serving; he established the Oklahoma Special Olympics Lions Club International Opening Eyes, he serves as Senior Consultant for the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education and he has participated in multiple mission trips to Africa and South America. He has also served as President of the Heart of America Eye Care Congress and on Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians Board of Directors.  He loves the profession of optometry and the countless service opportunities inherent within our profession.
